Q1: Now to start the AMA, please have a quick introduction to the community. What is the vision of MIMIR?
Viktor Södermark: As both the founder and CEO of the Swedish game studio behind Mimir Quiz – I am thrilled to share the grand vision that everyone in this team has which is to build the most entertaining and rewarding mobile games in the world, powered by blockchain technology.
The Mimir Quiz will be our first game launching at the end of October and is centered around quiz games, the most universal and proven game concept of all time. Since quiz and trivia games are worldwide phenomena with more than 350 million active players, the Mimir Quiz aims to become the first game that breaks out of the crypto-sphere and gains mass-market adoption.
Every year more than 2.5 billion people on this planet play mobile games on their smartphones! The gaming market is a massive industry where the giant game companies make a fortune off their players whilst giving no rewards back to their community…
Just like the overall idea with blockchain and crypto is to decentralize the world. Our vision with Mimir is to decentralize the gaming world and give users a more fair and rewarding gaming ecosystem. We will do this by developing super exciting mobile games that are 100% free to play and that comes without any annoying ads – and the best part about it is that we will always reward our players for their playtime and achievements in our games with our Mimir Token.

Q2: Please share with us the background of the team behind this project. What are your past experiences?
Viktor Södermark: Sons of Mim is the Swedish game studio behind the Mimir Quiz and in this company we have gathered a team of gaming industry veterans spliced with top-tier developers and experts within crypto and fintech.
As both the founder and CEO I have +4 years of experience working in the crypto industry and besides that I have also worked for companies like Electronic Arts (working with Battlefield, FIFA, etc.), Kellogg’s as well as being an entrepreneur and business owner.
One of our superstars in this project is of course our Blockchain developer Viktor Stenberg who has developed all the smart contracts and token functionality for us. For the Mimir Quiz, Viktor has integrated blockchain technology from Ethereum, Polygon, Xaya, Chainlink and Moralis. In addition to this he also has +4 years experience from the crypto industry and actually worked two years at Facebook before joining our team in July.
Since we are launching a mobile game it is also good to know that our tech team consists of top-tier developers building the mobile quiz game with extensive experience of livestream and quiz games.
Lastly, we also have a very strong team that manages our social media presence and our amazing community and to top things off we also get a lot of help from our seasoned advisory board with many years of experience from fintech and blockchain/crypto projects.
Q3: Can you tell us about your Quiz, how and when we can join?
Viktor Södermark: So we actually have two really amazing videos that highlights the main features of the Mimir Quiz – So I will share these videos with you all and then give you some background to how the game works.
At the end of October, in less than 4 weeks, we are launching the Mimir Quiz worldwide! You will all be able to download it from Google Play and App store just like any normal app.
So how does the game work?
The Mimir Quiz will let players enjoy two separate game modes all in the same quiz app. The game modes are “1vs1” and “Tournaments”.
The best part about Mimir Quiz is that users can either play for free and get rewarded in Mimir Tokens or they can enter our “Play-to-Win” mode where you stake Mimir Tokens before entering a game to spice up the prize pool and increase your potential winnings.
The main attraction in the Mimir Quiz will be the live quiz tournaments. Users from all over the world will be able to join daily quiz tournaments broadcasted live from Stockholm, Sweden. The live tournaments are a super exciting and social experience that tests your knowledge on a wide variety of topics in the form of a knock-out game with 10–15 questions where the last ones standing share the winnings from the prize pool.
The 1vs1 game mode will introduce a version of the popular round-based trivia game that has been around for ages in mobile games. The game consists of five rounds with three questions in each round. Anytime during the day players can duel it out 1vs1 against random opponents or friends and family.
In essence – You could say that we are launching a version of Jeopardy/Who wants to be a Millionaire but instead of sitting on the couch watching people on TV answer questions and winning money we are letting YOU be part of the live show and users from all over the world can join our exciting quiz games and win money directly on their smartphone… All thanks to the power of blockchain technology
Q4: How do you keep the ecosystem going? And what are your plans for future innovations?
Viktor Södermark: As mentioned in our overall vision, we want to create an entire ecosystem of blockchain-based games connected to Mimir World. As such, we are already in the early phase of production for a new game that will be announced in the beginning of November with a scheduled release during Q1.
The native currency in all of our games will be the Mimir Token and will act as the fuel for the entire gaming ecosystem that we aim to build.
The answer to your question about keeping the ecosystem going is in my eyes twofold.
Firstly, our fantastic community will be the most vital part of keeping the ecosystem going. It is with this in mind that we have locked 40% of our total supply of Mimir Tokens in a reward pool (a smart contract) and the only way that these tokens will ever be released is actually through our community playing our games.
Besides our play-to-earn model with releasing tokens to our players for simply playing the games – we have also built highly advanced smart contracts facilitating this reward pool so that it has longevity over time.

Q5: Let’s dive into your token $MIMIR. Can you share with us your tokenomics? What are the use cases? Does it get audited?
Viktor Södermark: So as you can probably understand, building this entire ecosystem has taken a lot of time and brainpower and there are many variables at play with getting everything right in terms of having a sound and fair tokenomics.
To get the full picture we recommend that you read through our whitepaper and visit our token section on our website but here are some highlights:
The Mimir Token has gone through a successful audit conducted by Zokyo (www.zokyo.io) which is a trusted partner in the crypto industry and we will during this week post the complete audit report on our website.
In my opinion, utility and clear use cases are one of the most important features for a crypto to be successful.
With the Mimir Token we are very proud to share with you the outstanding utility described below:
1. Play-To-Earn:
As mentioned, 40% of our total token supply is locked in a reward pool that pays our users in Mimir Tokens for simply playing our quiz games over time.
2. Native currency:
The Mimir Token will be the native currency of all the games connected to the Mimir World ecosystem, starting with the Mimir Quiz.
