Key Changes to the Binance NFT Marketplace
Effective from September 26, 2023, Binance NFT will cease The Sandbox NFT Staking Program, which was initially launched in April of the same year. This means that users will no longer have the option to stake their LAND NFTs hosted on the Polygon Network to earn daily The Sandbox (SAND) rewards.
- All LAND NFTs staked on the platform will automatically be unstaked by September 27, 2023.
- Following the unstaking process, these NFTs will be returned to users’ Binance accounts.
- The final daily SAND rewards will also be automatically credited to users’ Spot wallets by the end of this month.
In addition to discontinuing The Sandbox NFT Staking Program, Binance NFT will also terminate its support for the Polygon Network. This means that users will no longer be able to buy, deposit, offer, or list NFTs from the Polygon Network on the platform’s marketplace. All active listings related to the Polygon Network will be automatically canceled as of the aforementioned date and time.
Binance has advised its users to withdraw their NFTs via the Polygon Network from its marketplace before January 2024 to ensure a smooth transition.
